NAT MYERS
Welcome Korean-American blues poet NAT MYERS, the musical answer to a ramblin’ life on the road.
Following on from the success of his debut album Yellow Peril, Myers’ makes his way to Australia for the very first time, heading down the highways of the East Coast sharing his jumpy blues songs along the way.
The Northern Kentucky-local began his musical journey playing a left-handed starter guitar developing his deft picking style, whilst hanging out with skateboarding riffraff and listening to pop-punk. Perhaps it was here that his passion for poetry began, an odyssey of lyrics and dreams of endless wandering.
It was this poetry that was discovered by DAN AUERBACH, Black Keys frontman and founder of Easy Eye Sound Records who reached out and asked to meet up in Nashville. Magic happened as did a co-write with Auerbach, famed songwriter PAT McLAUGHLIN and blues legend ALVIN YOUNGBLOOD HART and Yellow Peril was born.
A NAT MYERS show is like stepping back in time, deep into the American South of the 1930s and ‘40s. Get set for some hootin’ and hollerin’ and having a damn good time. This October.
