BOOGIE

The last ever BOOGIE takes place over the Easter long weekend, just up the Hume in Tallarook at Our Friend's Farm on the lands of the Taungurung.

In its sweet 16th (and final) year, experience the magic, shenanigans, masterpiece moments and colourful vibrations that has made it an essential part of the country’s party and festival scene.

There's gonna be a stack of DJs playing in the truck, the return of night time KARAOKE in The Clubhouse, heaps of activities including BOXWARS - which will take on Titanic proportions in its final year - and good pals 1800-LASAGNE dishing up plenty of late-night musical curations after live bands over the entire weekend.

It all begins on Good Friday April 7. Gates at 2pm, licensed area open from 5pm.

PRIVATE FUNCTION, THE COUNTERFEITS’ WILD WEST SHOW featuring FREYA JOSEPHINE HOLLICK, GIRL & GIRL, GUITAR WOLF (Japan), THE PRIZE and new addition AIRPORT 75 on the main stage. JAMES ELLIS & THE JEALOUS GUYS will be hanging out in The Clubhouse, and we’ll have our friends WAX'O PARADISO and DAVID SMILEY sorting out the Late Night Vibes.

Boogie Believers will wake on Saturday to the joyful aural explosion of some old guy who cares for you spinning sad country 45’s in a rusted truck before SURPRISE CHEF, WILLIE J & THE BAD BOOKS, FULL FLOWER MOON BAND, BATTS, PHIL JAMIESON, THE SLINGERS, QUIVERS, DANIKA and MARTIN FRAWLEY take to the main stage. Later on, Grateful Dead lovers DEADNECKS will play 4 hours of DEAD power direct from 1972. Meanwhile, harmonica-driven band, HEADSPIN will reinvent what you thought blowing and sucking and bending an instrument is all about. Dreamers will be taken well into the night with SOPHIE MCALISTER and COLETTE thanks to the 1800 crew.

As we resurrect on Sunday for our last day in Heaven, campers, fans and lovers will be treated to a whole day of country, Americana, blues, cool shit and good times for Boogie Sunday. ANDY GOLLEDGE, CAITLIN HARNETT & THE PONY BOYS, THE RECHORDS, WATTY THOMPSON and his ensemble, EILS & THE DRIP, FOGGY NOTION, QUEENIE, COLLINGWOOD CASANOVAS, ARCHER & MARTHA SPENCER, THE DOLLY PARTON EXPERIENCE and KANKAWA NAGARRA will help you to straighten out your cowboy hat.

If the sound of East Nashville, Brunswick, Austin, Newtown and Atlanta gets too much, you can always switch up your cowboy hat to a beret and experience the cool sounds of 1800-JAZZAGNE with REB, JAMES TOM and SUGAR D in the Clubhouse and some late-night joy brought to you by ANDEE FROST and ADRIANA.
