Nashville’s Nikki Lane will be joining forces with Portland’s The Delines for this special run of headline shows.

Part outlaw, part songstress, part style icon, Nikki Lane’s sophomore album “All Or Nothin’” (out via New West / Warner Music Australia on 5 September), was produced by The Black Keys Dan Auerbach after an encounter at her vintage clothing store High Class Hillbilly. Along with Auerbach, Lane co-wrote with an array of writers including J Spaceman from Spiritualized.

Lane may look like a cowboy’s fantasy but don’t go judging too quickly now. In addition to her own boutique vintage store in Nashville, Lane has also collaborated with re-known hat makers Brixton, on her own custom range. And showcasing that her lifestyle is a brand, she even has her own coffee blend “Nikki’s Fixx” by Nashville roasters Drew’s Brews.

Add Portland’s The Delines to this mix and you’ve got a full swag of musical and creative talent!

With novelist & songwriter Willy Vlautin (Richmond Fontaine) at the helm, The Delines will be bringing a live line up consisting of vocalist Amy Boone (The Damnations), alongside fellow Portlanders Sean Oldham (drums), Freddie Trujillo (bass) and Cory Gray (keys, trumpet).

The Delines debut album “Colfax” has received stellar reviews including Uncut who gave it 9/10 stars and praised its “widescreen romanticism”, calling it “the richest collection of songs Vlautin has written”. The album will be released in Australia with two bonus tracks on 19 September through Warner Music Australia.

As an author, Vlautin has released his fourth novel “The Free” to critical acclaim and his first novel “The Motel Life” was recently released as a major motion picture starring Emile Hirsch, Dakota Fanning, Stephen Dorff, and Kris Kristofferson.

Opening for both acts on all shows is singer songwriter Bex Chilcott’s alter ego, Ruby Boots. Set to be released in 2015, Ruby Boots debut album sees the likes of Davey Lane (You Am I), Jordie Lane and Vikki Thorn (The Waifs) lending their musical talents. The album is produced by Tony Buchan (The Preatures), Anna Laverty (Jae Laffer, Paul Dempsey) and Bill Chambers.
