TOUR UPDATE

The Legendary Saxophonist BOBBY KEYS & The Suffering Bastards Tour To Proceed.

Please be advised that the Bobby Keys & The Suffering Bastards shows will be proceeding despite the cancellation of the Rolling Stones shows in Australia and New Zealand.

All five of the Suffering Bastards have just touched down in Adelaide and are ready to join main man Bobby Keys to deliver this very special show.

The Basement show in Sydney has now sold out, with tickets still available for the Monday night performance at the Hi Fi Bar [now moved to The Basement, Sydney].

In Melbourne the show originally scheduled for Saturday March 29 at the Thornbury Theatre, has been moved to Wednesday March 26 at the Thornbury Theatre. Tickets for Thursday March 27 remain for that date. If there are any problems with attending the new Thornbury theatre date, please contact your point of purchase.

Unfortunately the show that was scheduled for Brisbane on Tuesday April 1 has been cancelled to enable Bobby to get back to the United States as soon as possible. Ticket refunds for Eatons Hill will be processed automatically or at point of sale for purchased hard tickets.

We wish Mick and family and all the Stones entourage the best during this difficult time.

The history of rock ‘n’ roll is littered with musical prodigies, charismatic storytellers, oblivion-seeking omnivores and odds-defying survivors whose contributions to the soundtracks of our lives have attained for them—or at least their work—a measure of immortality. Rarely, though, do all of these traits come together in the form of a single person, as they do in the case of legendary saxophone player Bobby Keys.

Touring since the age of 15, Texan Bobby Keys has played with them all. From Dion’s “The Wanderer”, to the solo records of three Beatles, Joe Cocker, The Who, Clapton, The Faces, Nillson and Lynyrd Skynyrd to name a star studded few. He has also toured with a band called the Rolling Stones since 1970, and it is in between shows with the Stones as they travel about the Southern Hemisphere that we get to witness Bobby and his band The Suffering Bastards stomping it out at six very special shows. Commencing in Adelaide, before heading to Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and across the ditch to Auckland, the all star band plays two sets of hit after hit of all the songs you know and love from his recorded history.

The Suffering Bastards features some of the best and most respected musicians in the world. Dan Baird (The Georgia Satellites) on Guitar and vocals; Chark Kinsolving (Spoonful) on Guitar, Michael Webb (John Fogerty, Poco) on Piano and Hammond Organ, Robert Kearns (Lynyrd Skynyrd) on Bass and Brad Pemberton (Ryan Adams and the Cardinals) on Drums. Put simply – a stellar line up of musical legends you’ll seldom see any place else.

Do not miss you chance to see Bobby Keys and The Suffering Bastards in full flight. This is the real deal.
