The six-string virtuoso has already been announced as part of the Bluesfest 2015 line-up, and now Australian fans will have the chance to see their favourite guitar hero up close and personal in 2 newly-announced intimate headline shows in Melbourne and Sydney.
Fusing Blues, R & B and Rock’n’Roll, Gary Clark Jr. and his band’s musical journey doesn’t just stop there, expanding into soul, pop, psychedelia, punk, hip-hop and more. Whether playing in a dark club, on a festival stage, or at The White House, or performing alongside Mick Jagger, Eric Clapton and Paul McCartney, Clark’s musical prowess has stunned fans and seduced entire audiences all over the world.
Last here in Australia in support of his debut album ‘Blak and Blu’, the Grammy Award winning artist’s return co-incides with the release of one of the richest live albums in recent decades, ‘Gary Clark Jr. – LIVE’. Featuring both original material and reinterpretations of songs close to his heart, the blistering 15 song set was released this past September and is available on double vinyl, CD and digital.
